Yuko Nasu

Everyday is full of faces.
— Yuko Nasu

Our face is a complex central sense organ and the most distinguishing feature of our anatomy. There are actually special regions of the brain devoted to facial recognition, that when damaged, can prevent us from recognizing even close family members. The painter’s name is Yuko Nasu, she is from Hiroshima, Japan and now lives and works in London. Like all good artists her work is original and startling.
